Thyroid Conditions
If your thyroid function is low, consider Acupuncture and ATP Biotherapy with Dr. Bennett to boost your energy, improve sleep patterns, and help restore hormonal balance.
Your thyroid gland truly makes or breaks your energy levels, the ability to sustain a healthy weight, overall metabolic function, and even your emotions.
Hypothyroidism
Having primary hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis results in chronic thyroid gland inflammation. It often presents with fatigue, sensitivity to cold, weight gain, fluid retention, constipation, dry skin, hair loss, and depression.
Secondary hypothyroidism is more common and caused by a failure of the hypothalamus to regulate the thyroid gland or a lack of stimulating thyroid hormone from the pituitary gland.
